ICARUS
Icarus is a Discord slash-command bot built with discord.py. Its job is simple: deliver aggressive motivational replies, react to a few exact phrases, answer direct mentions, and let server admins switch its tone between fire, cold, cruel, and mythic.

Built as a pressure-forged presence for Discord, Icarus exists to answer hesitation with motion, challenge, and a sharper kind of encouragement.
Command registry
These are the slash commands registered in the bot.
Core slash commands
/hello- Sends a themed greeting from Icarus./help- Shows the command guide embed./arsenal- Shows the same command and trigger guide embed./intro- Sends the full Icarus intro card embed with character and lore-style info./ping- Sends a direct ‘you called me’ style response.
Pressure responses
/rise- Core motivation response./again- Used for failure and retry moments./defy- Rebellious pressure and push-back response./lastpush- For exhaustion or final-effort moments./burn- Signature fire-themed response./quit- Short refusal-to-quit response./cant- Short answer to doubt or ‘I can’t’ moments.
Tone and admin control
/mode [fire|cold|cruel|mythic]- Without an argument it shows the current mode; with one it changes the server’s Icarus tone. Requires Manage Server./sync [guild|global]- Admin-only command to sync slash commands either to the current guild or globally. Requires Manage Server.
Extra behavior
It also responds without slash commands when the right phrases or mentions reach it.
- Exact phrases:
Icarus, againIcarus, moveIcarus, I flew too close to the sun - Direct bot mentions: if someone mentions the bot, it replies with a ping-style response.
- Smart text triggers:trigger short auto-responses.

Mode control
Server admins can switch Icarus between fire, cold, cruel, and mythic. Without an argument, /mode shows the current tone; with one, it changes the server’s response style.
