BEHIND THE HOUSE
The House of Nox began as lore for a Discord community, but developed into something more personal.
Beneath the supernatural hotel, shifting hallways, spirits, staff, jokes, and forbidden rooms, the House can also be interpreted as a reflection of memory, grief, survival, and the parts of ourselves that we protect or struggle to understand.
The House is both refuge and lock.
It holds comfort and pain simultaneously.
The story was also shaped by the memory and influence of Nox's brothers, Eli, William, and Alex. William and Alex helped inspire parts of the world through Irish lore, while Eli provided a place for the stories to be shared as they developed.
Their influence remains within the House.
